Shahi Bread Pudding

1. Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees.
2. In a bowl mix milk, sugar, butter, cornstarch, cardamom powder, rose water, and saffron. Mix well and heat in the microwave for 1 minute (can do this on the stove, just until sugar melts).
3. In a baking dish add the cubed bread, top with sliced almonds (optional), pour in half the milk mixture, another layer of bread, almonds, then pour the rest of the milk mixture.
4. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Top should be golden brown.
5. Top with more almonds, pistachios, and some rose petals.
6. Enjoy it warm or cold!!
