Easy Homemade Salsa Verde – Fresh, Tangy, and Ready in 10 Minutes! You need to save this and make it, asap!! 💚 Salsa verde Ingredients * 7 Tomatillos, halves * 4 Garlic cloves * 1 white Onion, cut in 4th * 2 Jalapeño * 1 pablano pepper, 4th * 1 white onion, finely chopped (optional but recommended) * 1 tsp Cumin seeds * Salt, to taste * Cilantro, to taste * 1 Serrano pepper * 1/4 tsp Mexican oregano * 1 lime, juiced Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 400degrees, 2. On a sheet pan lined with parchment paper, put the tomatillos, garlic, onion, poblano peppers, and jalapeño. 3. Bake the veggies for 10-15 minutes or until they have a nice char on it. (Keep an eye on it making sure it doesn’t burn)- you can also roast them on a skillet 5-7 min per side. 4. Add all the veggies to a blender, add Serrano pepper, cilantro, salt, cumin seeds, and Mexican oregano. Blend until desired consistency. I like mine not too chunky and not too runny- just in between. 5. Add the chopped white onions, more cilantro, and lime juice. Mix well. 6. Enjoy with anything!!! P.s you can even use this as an enchilada sauce by adding more water and doubling the recipe! For a Verde enchilada. #summerrecipes #easyrecipeideas #salsaverde #salsa salsa verde recipe, homemade salsa verde, tomatillo salsa, easy salsa verde, how to make salsa verde, green salsa recipe, salsa verde for tacos, fresh salsa verde
