Instructions

1. Boil water in a pot. Once it comes to rapid boil, put in your basil cook for ONLY 30 seconds. 
2. Take it out into a n ice bath (water + ice). Squeeze out all the access liquids.
3. Put the basil in a food processor or blender, add olive oil and blend. 
4. In a serving bowl, add shredded garlic, then the basil oil, red crushed pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well! 
5. Serve with grilled crostini or bread of your choice. 
6. Store the remaining oil in the fridge, enjoy up to a week! (You can freeze it in ice cube trays and use it in soups, salads, stews, pastas, salads, etc.)
